Dear Collingwood patients,

New: Practice Announcement
We are very sad to announce that as of April 30, 2022, Dr. Golin's medical practice has closed due to health reasons. Please click here to find Dr. Golin's letter that was mailed out to his patients and other useful resources for you.  Regrettably, the remaining doctors at Collingwood Medical Clinic are full and will not be able to take on any new patients.  Please do not book an appointment simply to ask if any other physicians can take you on.  For options which may be of help to you, please see the practice announcement page.

High Call Volumes

Wait times for calling into the clinic can be longer than usual, and we appreciate your patience. If possible, we encourage you to book an appointment by using our online system.

If you are unable to use our online system above, you will need to call our clinic and speak to a receptionist. Our phone number 604-435-3388. Please be advised that our phone hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 12:00PM and 1:00PM - 4:00PM  (closed weekends and statutory holidays). Please do not leave a voicemail as it will not be followed up.

If you are experiencing a problem with Hushmail (not knowing the passphrase, expired message, etc.), please first read through our "FAQ Regarding Emails" by clicking here. If the problem persists, please call our office at 604-435-3388  - we will be happy to assist you.

We are grateful for your patience as we navigate this together, and we look forward to serving you.

Clinic Policy re: Office Visits

Our clinic will continue to comply with the guidelines set out by the BC CDC and WorkSafe BC to ensure a safe environment for our patients and staff.  Please note that medical facilities still require masking as per public health orders.  (i.e. medical facilities are under a different set of guidelines from the general population).  For more information click here.

To comply with College and MSP/Government expectations, all patients (including children and seniors) must be present on the telephone call or video call (i.e. you cannot speak on behalf of another person, unless that person is virtually or physically present)  We can accommodate this by doing a three way phone call when necessary.

Telehealth remains available because:

  • We have to continue to reduce COVID-19 exposure risk by screening patients and family members;
  • We have to clean our exam rooms frequently and thoroughly to reduce your risk of catching COVID from your visit- this will reduce the number of people we can see in our office each day;
  • We know that virtual care is safe and effective in a number of conditions and welcomed by a number of our patients as more convenient.

For us to maintain safety protocols, please do not arrive at the clinic in-person unless it is pre-arranged with the physician.  We encourage you to schedule a phone or video appointment by clicking here. We can also be contacted by phone (604-435-3388).

For in-person appointments, we ask that you please adhere to the following guidelines.   We will continue to screen patients for symptoms of COVID 19 as per current Public Health Orders.

We look forward to continuing to care for and support each of you during this pandemic. As Dr. Henry has immortalized, “Be kind. Be calm. Be safe.”

Yours sincerely,

Collingwood Medical Clinic
